Marie Koury brings a wealth of hospitality and travel industry experience to Elite Resorts & Spas.  Marie handles sales and development for Elite's Western Region of the United States.  Marie has also established our new Elite Mediterranean division, specializing in villa and apartment vacation rentals in Italy. Marie is now promoting group incentive travel Internationally.  She has been in the travel industry for over 20 years working as National Director of Travel Industry Sales for Le Meridien Hotels, Regional Director for Marriott Global Sales in Los Angeles both for seven years. She also was Regional Director of Sales, Australia/New Zealand for Marriott Global Sales based in Sydney, Australia for over three years.  She has traveled to over 35 countries and has lived in Australia And Italy.

In 2006, Marie decided to take time out from the hectic corporate enviornment and return to what she loves - leisure travel.  While living in Italy she founded Mediterranean Escape and continues to expand under the Elite Resorts & Spas portfolio, adding more villas and apartments in all areas of Italy.  Marie spends her time between LA and Italy, representing both Elite Resorts and Spas and Elite Mediterranean.  Marie's warm sense of humor, extensive knowledge of the hotel and travel industry and "joie de vivre" make her an iiresistable, valuable resource for your next meeting, incentive trip or resort getaway.
